But many people suffer from this condition and there are some ways to help deal with the pain and discomfort.

Hemorrhoids are caused by straining during bowel movements, excess weight and a diet low in fiber rich foods. The blood vessels in the rectum become enlarged and can swell and bleed. It is quite alarming to some people to see bright red blood when having a bowel movement. You can easily deal with hemorrhoids by increasing the fiber and fluid in the diet, losing excess weight and avoiding straining during bowel movements. There are several all-natural home remedies that can help relieve the discomfort, pain and itching associated with this condition.

Also, adjusting the sleeping and sitting position with pillows can help relieve pressure and pain. If treatment is started early for hemorrhoids, they usually shrink and do not cause further problems. Good dietary and health practices can keep them from coming back.
